04 September 09: Market Analysis assists E.ON Energy in NDA auction
Market Analysis recently assisted E.ON UK in its preparations for bidding for potential nuculear power plant sites in the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) auction held in March and April 2009. The successful bidders were a consortium of E.ON UK Plc and RWE Npower Plc which won land at the Wylfa and Oldbury sites, and EDF which won land at the Bradwell site. The auction raised 465 million (sterling) which the NDA will use to help fund the cost of decommissioning existing nuclear facilities.
